The First Woman Walks on The Moon
HISTORY of Landings
It was the year of 1920, John Smith landed on the moon. A momentous day for mankind. However, not much change has occurred since this milestone in history. Diversity within the Aerospace industry has not undertaken any transformation with still the majority of individuals male and white.
2020, Abigail breaks the glass ceiling into space, attitudes are finally changing for women in space.

About Her
Abigail Grace King - age 25 - Boston, United States
Abigail grew up with four older brothers, who always pushed her to do great things. She had a simple upbringing but always had big aspirations including walking on the moon. After Abigail finished school, she attended California Institute of Technology, graduating in Space Science. Shortly after she was picked up by NASA and the real journey began.
Abigail's journey to escape gender bias
"We have no present plans to employ women on spaceflights because of the degree of scientific and flight training and the physical characteristics , which are required."- Neil Brooke, CEO of NASA
Abigail's journey to the moon went more smoothly then the path it took to get into the driver’s seat of the space shuttle. She endured many sleepless nights studying to ensure she was the top of the NASA cohort. The NASA program was built around male bodies (spacesuits, food, medical supplies) thus every aspect of the journey Abigail experienced major setbacks.
In 2019, a momentous event occurred that changed the future of women in space forever. Abigail underwent testing required for the selection of the next moon exploration. Abigail not only topped her cohort in every aspect but recorded the best figures NASA had seen. A few months later, a study occurred which proved women were better suited for space travel than men.
